The V International Conference on Mathematics and its Applications in Science and Engineering (ICMASE 2024) was held from 16–18 September 2024, organized by the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra in Portugal. The conference featured a wide range of scientific sessions designed to engage participants with diverse research interests.
At ICMASE 2024, the head of our company, Anton Esin, delivered two presentations that garnered significant interest and sparked lively discussions among attendees. Both studies focused on advancing the theoretical foundations crucial for developing microchips and network devices of the future.
Anton Esin’s Presentations:
- “Structurally Finite Classes of Order-preserving Functions in Three-valued Logic”
This presentation introduced structurally finite classes of order-preserving functions within the framework of three-valued logic. The primary result demonstrated that such classes could be generated by functions depending on no more than two variables, simplifying their implementation. These findings hold great potential for designing efficient microchips and devices, particularly in systems like cellular networks (LTE, 6G), compiler optimization, and network traffic management. - “Finite Generated Classes in k-Valued Logic Without Majority and Choice Functions”
The second presentation addressed classes of functions in k-valued logic without majority and choice functions. Anton Esin showed that such classes could be generated from a finite set of base functions, significantly streamlining algorithms and enhancing their efficiency. These results also offer new perspectives for building future networks by reducing computational complexity and improving resource management.
Recognition and Significance
Both presentations received high acclaim and were recommended for publication in top-tier Q1 and Q2 journals, highlighting the contributions of our company and its team in advancing mathematical foundations essential for constructing next-generation networks. Anton Esin’s research not only enriched the theory of multi-valued logic but also demonstrated its practical potential, generating significant interest and active discussion among conference participants.
